Matthew P. Theis of Yorktown was arrested around 2:55 a.m., Thursday, June 6, and charged with resisting arrest, tampering with physical evidence, criminal mischief, criminal tampering, and obstructing governmental administration while at a Yorktown residence, said the Yorktown Police.
According to police, Theis allegedly resisted arrest by interfering with police by attempting to push past an officer conducting an investigation and then resisted attempts to be taken into custody, police said.
Theis also allegedly caused more than $250 in damage to a vehicle by kicking in a window and attempted to damage another vehicle by kicking it and tampered with a toilet.
He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on June 13.
